Mandy O’Grady
Research Assistant
Mandy has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Studies) and a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies. She is an experienced Clinical Trial Coordinator having worked for over 24 years in a range of fields including Child Infant and Maternal Nutrition, Cancer Research, a Longitudinal Study on the Ageing Population as well as Environmental Research. She has worked on a number of projects over the past 8 years at the Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health assisting in research in insomnia, sleep apnoea, co-morbid insomnia and sleep apnoea, and biomarkers assessing fitness to drive as well as the monitoring of new technologies to assist in the diagnosis of sleep disorders. She is currently working on two projects, including the development of an online screening tool to simplify the diagnosis of sleep disorders, and the development of a sleep disorders package aiming to improve the management of insomnia and sleep apnoea in General Practice.
